I need you to PROMISE me though, that you try not to harbor any guilt for her passing, or feeling like you weren’t there enough for her. Listen, when we “graduate” to adulthood and ALL the responsibilities that come with being a dad, being married and EVERYTHING else, it becomes difficult to run checks and balances on other adults. You guys DID do all you could for her, at some point she needed to do something for herself. I loved that girl, and I know that she had a LOT on her plate, but when life starts to tear us down, we have to do something to combat it. We ALL have our stuff, we all have our baggage and it is up to US to unpack it. For what it is worth, Kathy is in a much better place right now, and she is free of pain. Also, her girls are with a loving family as far as I can tell, and if you don’t think so, just say the word and I will do EVERYTHING in my power to get them into OUR family. I love you Will, I really do. And I know that you have had a complicated relationship with Laura, but I wanted to you to know, she loves you with EVERYTHING she has. She is just busy unpacking her baggage, just like the rest of us. If you need us, we are a phone call away. I am proud to call you my brother. Unpack your baggage bud, you deserve too.
