I don't have an oscilloscope to view the signal waveform so it's hard to be 100% sure. I can check for signal but I'd have to strip wires. So, I'm just going to order the part and see what happens.

Yeah. I already took it apart and cleaned the sensor. It's fairly simple.

It has one board. On that board it has these carbon strips with readouts at each end. On the other side, it has 4 metal brushes. Those brushes go up and down the carbon strips, depending on how much pressure you're applying. As you apply pressure, the brushes go up or down, the signal strength changes and gets interpreted by the ECU as % of throttle being applied.

So, I don't think the sensor itself is the issue. I think it's the wiring. But I didn't take it apart any further to see if the wires were pulled out or frayed.

When I pulled the wire through for the inverter, the inverter wouldn't work right. So I must have messed something up.

Take out all the wires you put in... You have to rewire it you have some wires crossed somewhere
